Czech is a West Slavic language of the Czech–Slovak group and is written using Latin script. It is the official language of the Czech Republic and has over 10 million speakers world wide. The Czech language is closely related to Slovak and is largely mutual understandable. The vocabulary has had significant influence from German and Latin.
